As a mother of 2 Little Black Girls, I have always believed it was important to encourage my girls to embrace and to love their blackness. Like many of us, I have always struggled with finding representation for them in the things that they loved, including books, dolls, cartoons, and other novelty items. Because I was not alone in my struggle, I decided to create a world where our girls could find the things they wanted. With the help of my 8 and 9-year-old daughters, we intend to change what has been and what will be by creating products specifically FOR LITTLE BLACK GIRLS. I want to make sure our girls know that they are represented and that they matter. Welcome.
